SUMMARY:CYCLE WILMSLOW’S BRAMBLE BASHING! - Feb 16th
DESCRIPTION:I thought Cycle Wilmslow members were supposed to cycle\, well 
 we are but sometimes the brambles become too intimidating just like the po
 tholes!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur first recent effort as a group was on 08 Septemb
 er last year when about eight of us met at the Welsh Row / Soss Moss cycle
  slip lane down on to Melrose Way / Alderley By-pass / A34. Despite rain i
 n the afternoon\, we made a significant improvement but there’s still pl
 enty to go back to. \n\n[caption id="attachment_446" align="alignnone" wi

 tion]\n\nOur next effort scheduled for 08 December was cancelled owing to 
 high winds.\n\nSome of our members joined with the U3A Cycling Group at sh
 ort notice on a beautifully sunny 25 January to tame the slip lane from th
 e Lakeland roundabout down to and alongside the A555. This proved to be a 
 busy cycle path with maybe fifty cyclists passing in two and a half hours 
 and about half actually thanked us!\n\n\n\nSo\, our next bash is this Sund
 ay 16 February starting at 10:00 am but feel free to slip in and out at an
 y time! We'll start at the Brook Lane overbridge slip lane down onto the 
 Alderley By-pass. If numbers are up\, the weather holds and progress is go
 od we may move on to the Chelford Road slip lane or maybe that’s for the
  next time. \n\nBring your own PPE and tools if you have them e.g. shears
 \, loppers\, spade\, shovel\, yard brush\, secateurs etc.\n\nSee you there
 !
